These are usually large gifts and can be designated to go toward a building, equipment or a particular program of the university. The university is careful to make sure the donors wishes are followed whenever a capital gift is received.

Endowment gifts are those gifts that are invested so as to create a growing endowment for the university. Endowed scholarships must have a beginning principal of $10,000.00.

Planned gifts are those for which a donor retains an interest and the charitable use by Simpson University is deferred to some future time. Simpson University's Advancement staff can assist you in making a planned gift that satisfies your needs while advancing the mission of the university.

Transform - Quarterly Newsletter
Transform is a quarterly newsletter designed to inform friends and donors of Simpson University about how their gifts are making a difference. Each issue focuses on a department on campus and includes a student profile, a faculty profile, a trustee profile and a student service spotlight, among other information.
