Simpson University averages 16 students to every professor. Sixty-eight percent of all undergraduate-level classes are 20 students or less. The 2008 freshman class (graduating class of 2012) had 154 undergraduate students. The small class size is part of what makes the Simpson experience much more personal than one at a typical four-year university. Relationships formed with professors and students will last a lifetime.

The total annual cost of a Simpson education for 2010-11, excluding room and board, is $21,000. Red Hawks - Athletics Mascot
There are five men's sports teams and six women's sports teams at Simpson. The Simpson University Red Hawks compete in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).
